The Project Management Department is responsible for corporate level oversight of current operations at all off-sites projects. We develop and implement plans, policies, and procedures for program and project management. Our program directors maintain operational oversight and provide guidance and direction to project managers. The Operations Cell serves as the portal for all operational information entering the company headquarters and ensures data integrity of information used by the company staff. The Operations Department leads the way in process improvement and standardization initiatives using Lean Six Sigma and ISO 9000 techniques.
The functions performed by the Operations Department include:
• Receive project status reports and prepare the weekly Operations Summary (OPSUM)
• Collect and analyze performance metrics from projects.
• Prepare and conduct monthly and quarterly performance briefings.
• Prepare and submit contract deliverable reports.
• Support business development and proposal preparation.
Provide the leadership and qualified work force to perform services that exceed PROTECH quality standards and fulfil contractual requirements. Continue to build an outstanding record of past performance and achieve goals for enhanced productivity, profitability, and growth.

TECHNICAL MANAGEMENT AND STANDARDS
The Technical Management and Standards (TM&S) Department is responsible for development and implementation of technical procedures, measures, and standards for performance of work, quality, and safety. The department is staffed with functional area experts who provide oversight of compliance with requirements, procedures and standards for work performed by PROTECH under contracts with the Government. The TM&S Department serves as the focal point for management of quality as well as environment, safety, and health programs on PROTECH projects. TM&S develops and documents the technical approach, including detailed plans and procedures, for meeting contract requirements in a wide variety of logistics and training services. The department works in concert with the Operations Department to ensure PROTECH consistently meets standards and customer expectations for delivery of responsive, high quality services.
The functions performed by the TM&S Department include:
• Ensure standardization and compliance with quality control and ESH plans for projects.
• Develop, collect and analyze performance and safety related metrics and reports.
• Conduct compliance assessments and training to facilitate performance to standard.
• Monitor performance and facilitate problem resolution for technical challenges.
• Develop the technical approach for future work.
The department’s mission is centred on enhancing the company’s competitive advantage in technical management and oversight of logistics and training services. We provide the leadership and technical expertise to set the standard for quality control and safety program design and execution. The department develops and implements ‘the PROTECH way’ for technical management and standardization of services provided to include automated systems for display of performance metrics for management visibility and control.
